This event was a big success with 11 Tugs in attendance. Lots of activities on the dock as well as in the Maine Railroad Museum, thanks to the organisers we had the opportunity to tour the Simulators at the Georgian Collage Campass as well as a garden party at the Billy Bishop Museum to top it off.  This special event for this year was a  pleasure to attend, and we are so grateful to Norm Menary and Ed Griffith and crew for putting it together.

In the picture is Sir Hiss Capt Murice Menary and Capt Felix a new member to our group with Capt Al McCabe.

Great Tug Race Sault St Marie

Well the  GREAT TUG RACE  is over for another year.  Thanks to the organisers, the event was well worth the trip.  The tug Capt’s and crews did a fabulous job of decorating their tugs for the parade and the race event was a joy to watch. The clock is ticking and the tug Capts and crew are making final adjustments for this year’s two Tugfest events, Owen Sound July 25th and Midland Aug 21 ,22, 23. This group shot was taken in Parry Sound at Tugfest 2005. This year in Midland, we will attempt to line them up again for a poster shot.
