Meridian

This year at the 2007 Parry Sound Tugfest we had the pleasure of meeting Roger Read along with his tug Meridian. The designer of this tug is Charles Wittholz, and she was build by Georgian Steel. The hull was designed as an offshore fish work boat. Capt Read purchased her in 2006, and has two boating seasons with her.

A quote from Roger Read.

" Tuggin is not about boats, but about attitude."

" You can take the man out of a tug, but you can't take the tug out of a man."
